What's OSINT?

OSINT or open source intelligence is information which is freely or publicly available. Earlier OSINT was not consider of high value it was as subscribing to newspaper or radio channel. But as age of internet boomed so did the open source information.So when we are talking about OSINT investigation , we're talking about gathering information from public websites like social media , YouTube , Facebook , Forums and even this Blog. OSINT is not hacking it's observing information cooperation or individual has provided publicly.


How to do OSINT investigation?

OSINT investigation doesn't require much but active brain is require . You don't want to get caught looking at 2-3 years old post chances are you will be block for stalking . Some people use fake accounts but major social media removes fake accounts . But there are great tools available free online click here to check tools and various source provided for OSINT.
